Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
- 9+ years of industry experience in technical program management, engineering, or related fields
- Proven success working with product engineering teams, focusing on end-user products and experimentation
- Demonstrated experience partnering with platform engineering teams, with expertise in distributed systems and backend infrastructure
- Strong understanding of experiment-driven development, scalable backend architectures, and data-driven decision-making
- Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executives, tailoring content to the right level of detail and strategic context
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs across technical and business teams, resolving ambiguity and driving results
- Proficiency with task management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Airtable
- Proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders across all levels of an organization
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical delivery of programs, focusing on system design, engineering trade-offs, and feasibility assessments
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of technical solutions
- Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact program delivery timelines or quality
- Understand the underlying technical architecture and contribute to decisions on system design, scalability, and reliability
- Ensure technical KPIs and SLAs are consistently met for the programs you manage
- Develop and own technical roadmaps in collaboration with engineering teams
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring technical nuances are well-communicated
- Create detailed technical schedules and ensure engineering milestones are met
- Act as the technical escalation point for program-related issues, driving resolution promptly
- Drive accountability and ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure alignment on staffing, priorities, and technical dependencies through structured planning processes
- Provide visibility into key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities to leadership
- Increase team productivity by identifying and removing obstacles while keeping processes lean
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with regulated technology products, such as digital-native insurance platforms and digital payments, is highly desirable
