Summary

This role requires 8+ years of experience in Technical or Program Management, ideally in a SaaS company.

Requirements

  • You bring 8+ years of experience in Technical or Program Management, ideally in Growth or Experimentation environment at a SaaS company
  • You have a proven track record of leading large-scale cross-functional programs with measurable business impact
  • You have experience leading programs focused on user engagement, personalisation, or customer lifecycle management, marketing technologies and growth channels
  • You have exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • You are a natural communicator who leads through influence, not authority
  • You have a love for navigating complexity and tackling ambiguous problems
  • You are dedicated to provide an inclusive and psychologically safe environment for our diverse team to collaborate together
  • You are proactive focus on team improvement and personal growth in the TPM specialty
  • You have the ability to think strategically but also able to make crazy big goals happen. This role will be very hands-on!

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Data, create compelling stories in partnership with the Group Leads to facilitate the delivery of Canva’s highest priority, complex and multi-disciplinary initiatives
  • Proactively engage product delivery teams, understanding their delivery challenges and track delivery across the Group project portfolio
  • Promote accountability towards sustainable program delivery across the Sub Group, Group & SuperGroup leadership
  • Actively engage with engineering teams to identify and proactively mitigate program risks & issues
  • Assist in the identification of & help manage product delivery dependencies across teams and groups
  • Promote consistency in cycle planning, documentation and core practices across teams to ensure sustainable velocity, whilst maintaining flexibility to adapt to diverse requirements
  • Facilitate continual improvement rituals to build on the effectiveness of product development and engineering teams
  • Foster a culture of excellence by integrating innovative approaches within projects and promoting a dynamic and forward-thinking environment
  • Build strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams, including active collaboration with engineering teams to influence technical decisions, drive alignment, and deliver successful product outcomes
  • Partner within the TPM speciality to help codify and build the TPM craft and practice

Preferred Qualifications

  • If you have strong understanding of experimentation methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing), machine learning and data analysis
  • If you have proficiency in agile product development process and modern project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • If you have proficiency in analysing data to inform decisions using tools like SQL, or data visualisation platforms
