Summary
Join Method, a global design and engineering consultancy, as a leader of multidisciplinary teams, guiding projects from conception to delivery. You will mentor team members, understand project domains, and foster an inclusive leadership style. Travel up to 15% is required for team and client meetings.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in test engineering, including automation testing
- 5 years experience with mobile testing
- Ability to contribute at a high level within a team environment, with experience leading small to mid-sized teams
- Ability to create accurate estimates, manage and prioritize work, and communicate very effectively
- Experience with identifying and communicating project risk
- Strive for quality while actively tracking and eliminating technical debt within projects
- Ensure that best practices, processes, and procedures are being followed within their project teams and in the engineering department
- Lead client relationships and are able to deliver large, complex projects
- Experience with Appium

- Manage a project of any complexity and size
- Mentor and guide your teammates to deliver the best possible outcome, supporting each colleague's individual development goals
- Understand each domain of the project, including the roles and the strengths of each teammate
- Exhibit an inclusive leadership style embracing diversity of all kinds, including cognitive diversity
- In cases where you are uncertain or need support, you know how and when to ask for help
- Be an effective communicator, able to synthesize and communicate progress to the client. Be an active listener, showing appreciation for the views of others. Deftly handle client conversations
- Consistently evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify areas that need optimization
- Work to build, set up, and improve systems, procedures, and equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering team on prototype development
- Educate others through written and verbal content ( posts, blogs, presentations, etc. )
- Periodically participate in sales support opportunities
- Help out with the interviewing and Hiring process
- Review test cases and ensure that they align with requirements and have appropriate coverage
- Support project teams in defining suitable quality objectives and acceptance criteria
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback and suggestions to increase quality
- Fulfill all the duties of more junior test engineer team members when necessary
