Staff Ux Designer

Summary

Join Mediafly as a Staff UX Designer and play a critical role in designing and improving the user experience across our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate possesses 5-6+ years of UX design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in design tools. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Requirements

• 5-6+ years of UX design experience, including 2+ years at a senior level
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX design, information architecture, and user research
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Advanced knowledge of usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles
• Proven ability to lead design initiatives for complex SaaS platforms, preferably in a B2B environment
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile or Lean environments
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, FullStory) to inform design strategies

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, to uncover actionable insights
• Develop personas, journey maps, and other deliverables to guide design decisions
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align user-centered solutions with business goals
• Ensure adherence to usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 or higher)
• Create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs, incorporating feedback and testing results
• Contribute to Mediafly’s design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to standards
• Drive high-impact design initiatives that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives
• Advocate for research-driven, user-centered decision-making throughout the organization
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and efficiently
• Iterate on designs based on usability testing and user feedback, ensuring designs meet user needs and business goals
• Document design decisions and provide clear guidelines for implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
• Working knowledge of CSS/HTML
