Requirements
- Experience: 8 to 10 years in data modeling, with expertise in data architecture, and normalized and denormalized data modeling
- Skills: Complete mastery of SQL is required, deep understanding of data conception, normalization, and the ability to create future-proof data models
- Mentoring: You care about growing and mentoring people. The Staff Engineer role requires technical leadership, is inspirational for teammates, and radiates beyond the team

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver data models in 6th Normal Form, 3rd Normal Form, and star schema
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Managers, Data Producers, Data Scientists (DS), Data Analysts (DA), and other teams within Qonto, to understand business requirements and ensure data models meet these needs and are future-proof
- Mentor and elevate the team’s data modeling capabilities
- Contribute to data governance and ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture
Preferred Qualifications
Skills: The ecosystem includes DBT, Airflow, Apache Flink, and Snowflake which are “nice-to-have”
