Staff Analytics Engineer

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years in data modeling, with expertise in data architecture, data management, and both normalized and denormalized styles of data modeling
• Complete mastery of SQL is required, along with a deep understanding of data conception, normalization, and the ability to create future-proof data models

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models using 6th Normal Form, 3rd Normal Form, and star schema methodologies
• Work closely with data producers (Product and Engineering teams, third-party systems) and data consumers (including Fraud, Risk, Data Products, Scientists, and Analysts) to develop strong expertise in your specialization area, which will be 'Bank Account & Transactions
• Proactively mentor and enhance the team's data modeling capabilities through both scheduled and spontaneous training and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Dedicate time to evaluate and optimize the overall data infrastructure, driving the adoption of high standards
• Participate in data governance efforts and ensure compliance with best practices in data architecture
• Write code. The underlying streaming platform is Apache Flink, so be ready to brush up on your software engineering skills

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the ecosystem, including DBT, Airflow, Apache Flink, Iceberg, and Snowflake
