Summary

Join Wrike's Expand sales department as a Strategic Account Manager! You will build relationships with clients, identify expansion opportunities for the Wrike product, and lead a virtual team to success. This is a hunter role focused on landing large enterprise logos and requires strong prospecting skills and a deep understanding of sales methodologies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding quota and experience in software or technology sales. Wrike offers a hybrid work mode and a collaborative, customer-focused culture.

Requirements

  • Have a drive for results, including a track record of exceeding quota year over year
  • Possess a thirstiness and drive to run the Greenfield territory like a business, including following proven sales principles to find prospects and win business
  • Leverage your network for a foot in the door
  • Conduct outreach and continuously refine hypotheses
  • Truly headhunt to build your business from the ground up
  • Possess strong prospecting skills, including discovery, articulating ROI, and dealing with objections
  • Always keep the business outcome in mind and possess a deep understanding of sales techniques and methodologies, including MEDDPIC
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively create a territory plan with your virtual team and lead that virtual team to success!
  • Work closely with the marketing division to create successful and meaningful campaigns to support pipeline growth across your book of business
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to create a joint value proposition for targeted accounts
  • Employ a solution approach to selling and creating value for your customers
  • Be accountable for accurate forecasting weekly and ensure all systems of record are up to date
  • Land large Enterprise logos
  • Become a thought leader in the space, including a comprehensive understanding of the competition, markets, industries, and products
  • Be committed, collaborative, creative, and put our customers first
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have 5-7+ years of quota-carrying software (preferred) or technology sales, account management, and virtual team leadership experience selling to IT and business leaders
  • Possess proven expertise in digital transformation roles
  • Be fluent in German
  • Have experience in selling across a Greenfield territory and landing new customer accounts
  • Have strong experience in engaging at all levels within a customer account, including up to C-level
