Requirements
- Previous experience in early-stage sales at a fast-growing start-up, or applicable experience from management consulting (i.e. with a technology or energy focus)
- You’re a consultative seller who thrives in ambiguity - someone who listens deeply, tailors effectively, and crafts sharp insight for every interaction
- You have navigated complex, enterprise-sized businesses and understand how to position solutions that align to their strategic needs
- Relish building trust-driven, long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Comfortable having a market-facing presence, whether that’s attending a conference, webinar or holding a customer workshop
- Have a start-up mindset, with the drive, ambition and passion to build a globally important climate-tech business, i.e. understand how to transition the bespoke work you are doing with our strategic partners into a playbook as we scale
- You're entrepreneurial and energized by building something new from the ground up. You’re motivated to grow faster or achieve more than a traditional career might allow, and you're ready to dive in, take ownership, and do whatever it takes to make it happen
- Passionate about the mission and urgency of climate change and want to be part of a team that will have a lasting impact
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for Strategic Accounts - from outbound to close - engaging with a diverse funnel of the world’s most innovative energy companies and advising them on how to best utilise consumer energy devices to aid the global transition to a fully decarbonised electricity grid
- Engage senior decision-makers across multiple stakeholder groups and build trust through thought leadership, insight selling, and deep understanding of their business and decarbonisation challenges
- Create highly tailored, consultative sales approaches, including customized pitch materials, business cases, and proposals aligned to the prospect’s strategic priorities
- Represent us in the market by attending industry events, conferences, and panels - both as a participant and speaker - helping to elevate our brand and expand our ecosystem
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success to provide feedback from the field and shape positioning, messaging, and packaging
- Contribute to our go-to-market (GTM) strategy and playbook, by helping us identify patterns, refine our ideal customer profile, validate personas, and sharpen our processes as we scale
- Build repeatable systems and processes for strategic sales in a startup environment - flexible enough for experimentation, rigorous enough to scale
