Streaming Video Producer

Summary

Join Granicus' Swagit Productions team as an entry-level Streaming Video Producer in our remote Costa Rica team. This exciting role transforms your passion for live streaming into a career. You will dynamically switch cameras and broadcast live government meeting productions using Swagit's proprietary systems. The position requires basic video production and live streaming knowledge, along with specific shift availability. While experience with professional equipment is beneficial, it's not mandatory; training is provided. Requirements

• Be fully bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Reside in Costa Rica
• Work in shifts between 11am-10pm (M-TH) Central time
• Have availability to work from Noon to midnight (and occasionally later) CST, Monday thru Thursday, with some Fridays
• Be willing to work holidays if needed
• Have a basic understanding of video production and live streaming technologies
• Have six months of live streaming, video camera operations & video production experience
• Have a reliable, secure high-speed internet connection at home
• Submit a current resume
• Include 3 or more references, including title and contact information, one of which must include your immediate past supervisor
• Provide director reels or links to past streams (that contain the actions of switching between multiple inputs or feeds)
• Arrive on-time to work and be engaged with respective job duties

Responsibilities

• Dynamically switch cameras and broadcast live government meeting productions from across the country using Swagit's proprietary broadcast systems
• Broadcast live government meetings, including City Councils, Planning and Zoning, County Commissioner Courts, School Boards of Education, State Departmental Boards, and local city productions
• Maintain a reliable and high-speed network connection while conducting work
• Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
• Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of live television technical directing
• Have experience with switching cameras or inputs through consumer streaming software like Streamlabs OBS, Open Broadcast Software (OBS) or XSplit
• Have knowledge and experience with TriCaster, Broadcast Pix or vMix
