You will play a critical role in protecting students by monitoring and assessing potentially harmful online activity flagged by our AI technology. This remote, US-based position offers a Friday-Tuesday schedule with some flexibility in hours. The role involves analyzing flagged content, implementing response protocols, communicating with school districts, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with the Student Safety Group. Requirements
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Schools or Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), Social-emotional wellbeing support, Asset protection, Education, Law enforcement, Crisis prevention/counseling, Other roles involving student safety or welfare
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze AI-flagged online activity to identify potential threats to student safety
- Assess the severity and urgency of flagged content, making critical decisions to ensure appropriate action
- Implement response protocols based on threat assessment
- Communicate with school districts via email and phone regarding flagged concerns
- Maintain detailed documentation of reviewed cases and actions taken
- Collaborate with the Student Safety Group to enhance and refine safety protocols
- Meet established performance metrics and quality standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI safety systems
- Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about emerging online safety trends
