Summary

Join the NATO Information and Communication Agency (NCI Agency) as a LOGFAS Subject Matter Expert! This remote position requires expert knowledge of the LOGFAS software suite and NATO logistics processes. You will participate in testing, documentation updates, and user support within an Agile environment. The role involves daily status meetings, requirements analysis, bug fixing, test case creation, and documentation updates. A NATO Secret security clearance is required. The contract spans from January 2025 to December 2025, with optional extensions through 2027.

Requirements

  • Possess expert knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of and practical experience with the complete LOGFAS software suite
  • Have practical military experience of the Movement and Transportation planning and execution, and Logistics Reporting business processes and the LOGFAS software to cover the tasks list under these duties
  • Possess expert knowledge of the governing NATO Logistics policy, Allied doctrine and ACO directives and procedures as well as extensive operational experience in NATO logistic processes necessary to address end-user requirements
  • Have good knowledge of the NATO's Comprehensive Approach described in the Comprehensive Operations Planning Directive (COPD), deep understanding of NATO operations planning and related processes, information exchange requirements and interoperability standards to promote collaboration and information sharing using LOGFAS
  • Have experience with testing software using technologies and methods to support the full software lifecycle
  • Demonstrate proven ability to integrate and work in a multinational team
  • Have the ability to conduct all work in fluent business English
  • A NATO security clearance (NS) is REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily status update meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and other meetings, in person via electronic means
  • Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis and design discussions
  • Support bug fixing and stability improvements
  • Create and run test cases
  • Create and update documentation
  • Support users in the acceptance testing
  • Support the operations and maintenance of LOGFAS
  • Investigate the best ways to solve problems, including documenting and presenting pros and cons to the team
  • Provide services off-site
  • Participate remotely in daily status update meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and other meetings, physically in the office, or in person via electronic means using Conference Call capabilities, according to project managerโ€™s instructions
  • For each sprint to be considered as complete and payable, the contractor must report the outcome of his/her work during the sprint, first verbally during the retrospective meeting and then in written within three (3) days after the sprintโ€™s end date. The format of this report shall be a short email to the project manager mentioning briefly the work held and the achievements during the sprint
