Subject Matter Expert in Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work with learning, project, and functional teams in creating and reviewing course content at General Assembly. The SME will have 2+ years of professional expertise in their field and will be responsible for curating existing learning components, designing new content, contextualizing existing content, developing lesson plans, exercises, and other materials, and facilitating a supportive community of learners.

Responsibilities

• Cure existing learning components, design new content and contextualize existing content to meet learning needs, context and industry
• Help us to develop a world-class curriculum both for yourself and for future instructors by building out lesson plans, exercises, and other materials in partnership with our instructional designers and other subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community that welcomes the various needs and learning styles of your students
