Join REGENT's team as a Supply Chain Intern to support the optimization and efficiency of procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations for the seaglider project.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Support the optimization of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes through data-driven insights
- Help create dashboards and reports for key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory levels, service levels) to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain projects and initiatives
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management and technology
- Assist in the development of process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall supply chain performance
- Support ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supply chain team
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis or process automation is preferred
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, procurement, and logistics is a plus
