Summary
Join our team as a Supply Chain Risk Analyst and contribute to a leading global airline group's sustainable transformation. You will conduct financial and ESG risk assessments, analyze sustainability and financial risk data, and generate comprehensive reports with recommendations and risk mitigation plans. This long-term, full-time remote position requires strong analytical skills, experience in financial risk assessment, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, and comfortable working independently. Location should allow for occasional travel to Krakow. The company is committed to sustainability and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial risk assessment (especially financial data, and data in the context of ESG will be an additional asset)
- Experience working in sustainability areas
- Very good knowledge of Excel (ease of navigation in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and data tables) and PowerPoint
- Experience working with MS Excel and PowerPoint programs in reporting, visualization, data collection, verification, and analysis
- Experience in Agile methodologies and experience in using project management tools such as Jira
- Analytical skills and knowledge of data interpretation tools
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Experience in coordinating tasks and activities
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills
- English at a level allowing for fluent communication in a team
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and conduct risk assessments (financial, ESG) for over 16,000 suppliers across the Group, including supplier audit results and corrective action plans
- Support the Business Risk Leader in developing a comprehensive sustainability risk assessment methodology to assess suppliers for supply chain risks
- Analyze economic factors and assess ESG risks within business operations and their potential impact on sustainability goals and long-term profitability
- Identify problems and emerging trends and areas of poor performance
- Provide updates to all stakeholders: the sustainability team, company management, and shareholders
- Conduct effective communication with stakeholders (internal and external) - risk assessment and risk minimization strategies, supporting transparency, maintaining trust
- Monitor new sustainability trends, regulations, and financial market dynamics
- Collaborate with finance, sustainability, and risk management teams
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to provide insights into specific business areas or projects
- Document processes and ensure their continuity
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Spanish language
- Knowledge of databases
