The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in GHG accounting or LCA within a consulting or industry setting, a Bachelor's degree (Master's or PhD preferred), and strong analytical skills. Requirements

  • Have a deep understanding of product LCA and corporate GHG accounting methodologies and their application in evaluating the environmental impacts of products and value chains to drive strategic decision making
  • Possess a science- and metrics-based orientation, and a deep intellectual and business curiosity, combined with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information in clear, understandable ways to internal and external audiences
  • Have experience working across multiple workstreams in the fashion industry, including sustainability assessments related to innovative raw materials, logistics and manufacturing
  • Have demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and mentor others with your knowledge and skills
  • Have the ability and affinity for supporting and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • For 5+ years, have been sharpening your greenhouse gas accounting and/or LCA skills in a consulting or industry context. Your deep expertise combines a strategic mindset with technical knowledge
  • Have strong experience with LCA and GHG modeling, using multiple tools, including SimaPro
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or similar discipline
  • Have strong general quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Have a thorough understanding of sustainability topics, services, market needs relevant to Quantis

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality consulting services for clients, focusing on expert-level guidance and strategic sustainability strategies
  • Provide thought leadership on science-based solutions for environmental priorities in the Fashion and Sporting Goods Sector
  • Use LCA and corporate GHG-accounting expertise to guide strategic engagements such as supply chain impact reduction initiatives, custom data strategies, and innovation investment decision making
  • Perform analytical role or project lead/project manager role and other types of client projects
  • Perform corporate GHG modeling or other analytical work, or project lead/project management role
  • Perform LCA modeling or other analytical work, or project lead/project management role
  • Support/manage client interactions, such as project meetings/calls, etc
  • Develop or support development of interim and final client deliverables, including generating insights, recommendations and strategic implications
  • Develop and share Quantis’ point-of-view on the evolution of LCA and corporate GHG topics and trends, particularly as it relates to the operationalization of sustainable transformation
  • Identify needs, develop and deliver internal and/or client-facing training on key footprinting topics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/proficiency in Higg MSI and Higg FEM is preferred
  • Knowledge of digital carbon accounting tools is a plus
  • A Master’s or PhD degree involving significant conceptual and practical use of LCA is appreciated, but not required
  • Have worked with digital visualization software and are interested in learning more how to use new digital tools in your day-to-day work
