Systems Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years avionics system development
• Experience in Flight Management System LRU system-level requirements development
• Experience in Flight Management System LRU verification including, test case development, manual test procedure development, and test execution in a bench environment
• Development and integration experience of FMS for aircraft
• Experience with System/Software Development in accordance with DO-178 software development guidelines
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Willingness to perform any and all assigned day-to-day tasks
• Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done

Responsibilities

• System Requirements development
• System Test Case development
• System Test Procedure development
• Test Execution in a bench test environment

Preferred Qualifications

• FMS Vertical Guidance functional area experience (preferred)
• Experience with DOORS NG (preferred)
• Familiarity with simulation tools and software development environments (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python)
