Summary
Join IntelliDyne, LLC as a Network Systems Engineer and maintain the system's environment. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure hardware and software issues, working independently and thinking critically. This role requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well independently under pressure and time constraints in a small team environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant networking/systems experience
- 1 of the following certifications: M365E/X, VCP, CCNP, LPIC or Linux+
- Bachelor's Degree in networking, systems engineering or similar field
- Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Experience deploying servers or embedded systems and sub-components
- Analyze system performance and identification of risks
- Deploy and support of virtual network infrastructures including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Server Virtualization Infrastructure
- Develop System Design documentation
- Windows or Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of IP networking technology
- Knowledge of and VPN solutions
- Strong problem solving, analytic, and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently under pressure and time constraints, in a small team environment
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve various issues with server, network, and storage infrastructure
- Perform build, configuration, and implementation of server infrastructure both virtual and physical
- Take ownership of incidents and identify problem trends to improve the overall dependability of the environment and meet appropriate Service Level Agreements
- Maintain and support production environments consisting of Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare
- Write scripts and procedures for daily operations
- Provide WAN/LAN/MAN support for multi-vendor environments, connectivity and configuration management, soft/firmware management
- Provide VoIP support, including network configuration, QoS and CoS classifications
- Provide remote access support for F5 load balancing infrastructure, to include: F5 LTM, GTM, APM and VMware Horizon Integration
