Summary

Join Xplor Technologies as a Systems Test Engineer in Auckland, New Zealand, for a permanent, full-time role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and automated tests to ensure software quality. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to improve the QA process. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in C#, .NET, and testing frameworks is essential. The position offers 100% remote work within Auckland and various benefits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA Engineer or Test Analyst role
  • A Bachelor's degree in a closely related field such as Computer Science or Information Technoogy
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET and testing frameworks like xUnit or similar tools
  • Previous experience in QA engineering, preferably in microservices environment
  • Previous experience in or a high level of exposure to automation testing
  • High level of knowledge in SQL
  • Experience in design, implementation, and execution of test strategies and solutions
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases and automated tests to identify defects and ensure that our products meet the required standards
  • Solve problems and provide technical expertise and direction in support of system infrastructure and process improvements, and diagnoses and resolves complex system problems
  • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, business analyst to drive the QA process, contributing ideas and process improvement
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tool

Preferred Qualifications

Good to have experience with cloud-based technologies like Azure or AWS
