Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, including relevant Australian tax units
• TPB Tax agent registration as an individual with 2 years of experience - Mandatory
• 4+ years experience as a practising accountant and tax practitioner for sole traders and private companies
• 2+ years Xero Payroll experience, including setting up and assistance running Single Touch Payroll and superannuation
• Effective client servicing & communication skills
• High degree of professionalism, an excellent representative of our organisation
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with Xero Practice Manager, Google Suite (gmail, meets, drive), and other software applications
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets

Responsibilities

• Supporting Sleek’s tax services in Australia, including internal process set-up
• Provide accounting and tax agent services to a portfolio of Australian startup and SME clients
• Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
• BAS preparation and submission
• Tax return preparation and submission
• Provide supervision and control for remote bookkeeping clients
• Advise and engage with clients on various accounting & taxation matters
• Hire, train, nurture and grow a team of like-minded accountants
