Tax Manager

Join Evergreen Services Group, a San Francisco based holding company that acquires and operates B2B services companies across North America. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager specializing in Tax and Compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 4-6 years of experience in tax accounting
• Federal partnership and some corporate tax experience including provisions
• Some International tax experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and other relevant jurisdictions
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize tax liabilities
• Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Manage tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and responses
• Oversee and manage the company’s cap table, ensuring accuracy and compliance with equity distribution
• Handle international tax issues, including transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations, staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax and compliance activities
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, and external auditors
