Teacher Assistant

Summary

Join CCRES as a Teacher Assistant and make a difference every day! This role will be the main point of contact for students enrolled in the Philadelphia Virtual Academy (PVA) program, managing a student caseload, monitoring progress, and providing academic support. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and knowledge of web-based programs and apps.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in education or related field
• Experience as an instructional assistant or teacher preferred
• Knowledge of web-based programs and apps
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance

Responsibilities

• Communicate with students and parents to help them understand the program and maneuver through the PVA system
• Manage a student caseload, monitor student progress, work 1:1 or in small groups to support students academically
