Team Lead

Requirements

• Proven leadership and project management experience in fast-paced software development environments
• Hands-on experience with Java and Microservices architecture (required); familiarity with AWS is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of agile development methodologies
• Strong people management and team-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Technical background with the ability to guide and support development work effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery
• Partner with Product Managers to groom user stories and manage sprint deliverables
• Oversee design, implementation, code reviews, and maintenance of backend services
• Triage issues identified by the Support team and manage appropriate escalations
• Own the end-to-end release process of microservices
• Facilitate and actively participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for your team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with distributed teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
