Team Lead/Architect

Summary

Join GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service company, as a remote English-fluent Team Lead/Architect based in Latin America. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Python-based solutions, architect cloud-native applications, and integrate multiple software platforms. This role requires 8+ years of software development and architecture experience, proven experience as a Technical Lead or Architect in a SaaS environment, and strong proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, and GCP. The compensation ranges from $4,500 to $5,000 USD per month, with a 3-month trial period. The position is for an independent contractor working remotely.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development and architecture experience
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Architect in a SaaS environment
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Kubernetes and GCP
• Hands-on experience with VertexAI, LLM, and GenAI
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Python-based solutions
• Architect and implement cloud-native applications using GCP, Kubernetes, and other modern technologies
• Architect and integrate multiple software platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability
• Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Auth0, JWT, API keys, secret store, Oath2, and SAML
• Oversee the provisioning and security of APIs, ensuring robust identity provider (IDP) integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for API development and integration
• Ensure the security and compliance of all integrated systems and data exchanges
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team
• Utilize VertexAI, LLM, and GenAI to develop advanced AI-driven functionalities
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge

Benefits

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,500 - $5,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
• This position will start with a trial period of 3 months, depending on your performance, and will be extended as a long-term contract
