Tech Lead Architect, Remote - Poland

Summary

We are seeking a remote Tech Lead Architect with at least 10 years of experience in C++ for a long-term full-time contract role. The candidate will be responsible for defining and improving the architecture of our Desktop apps, building on shared code, communicating with the team, suggesting performance improvements, leading application design, and developing core features. Additional requirements include Team Lead or Tech Lead experience, experience in designing application architecture, writing clear specification docs, building scalable products, and using Git. Excellent communication skills are essential. Knowledge of iOS/Android development, Qt, and team leadership is beneficial but not mandatory. The position offers flexibility for contractors, annual retreats, and needed equipment provided by the company.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with C++ (mandatory)
• Team Lead or/and Tech Lead experience 5+ years
• Experience in designing the architecture of application
• Experience writing clear specification docs
• Experience building scalable products
• Experience using Git

Responsibilities

• Define and improve the architecture of our Desktop apps (Linux, Windows, MacOS)
• Build on our shared C++ code which supports the mobile apps
• Communicate with the team to establish priorities and plan the application roadmap
• Suggest performance improvements and lead the application design
• Develop core features of our product

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of iOS/Android development, Qt, and team leadership (nice to have)
