Summary

Requirements

  • You are a senior engineer with extensive experience in backend integrations and a good understanding of best architecture practices such as DDD, event-driven architecture, APIs and Service-oriented architecture
  • You have a proven track record of leading technical teams
  • You have strong engineering foundations and proficiency in Java or Javascript
  • You have excellent communication skills and a passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices
  • You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
  • You have experience with other relevant technologies and tools, such as Salesforce, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, security practices, performance optimization, and scalable architectures

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, focusing on understanding problems deeply and driving the entire process to a solution
  • Being business-oriented with a focus on delivering value and impact for the business
  • Architecting and implementing scalable solutions for integrating systems like Salesforce with our Javascript and Java-based platforms
  • Leading and managing a small team of software engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development
  • Conducting code reviews, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code ensuring high-quality delivery and best practices in security, performance, and scalability
  • Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement integrations
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient deployment processes
  • Engaging in productive discussions with product stakeholders and team members to break down requirements and drive efficient implementation
  • Taking ownership of software operations, focusing on continuously improving system reliability and performance while proactively addressing potential issues
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development and integration
