Join our team as a Tech Lead Manager - iOS/macOS to lead our iOS engineering team. Oversee the full development lifecycle of complex iOS projects, provide technical guidance, and set best practices. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related field and 5+ years of iOS or macOS development experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in iOS or macOS development
  • Strong understanding of multithreading and memory management in iOS
  • Experience with Core ML and Metal for on-device machine learning
  • Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools
  • Knowledge of iOS security best practices and privacy considerations
  • Solid understanding of network protocols such as MQTT and WSS

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full development lifecycle of complex iOS projects, from concept to release and maintenance
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers, ensuring efficient design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles
  • Act as the primary engineering lead in initiatives and development
  • Debug and review team members' code to ensure best practices
  • Architect reusable software components and frameworks to ensure scalability, high performance, and maintainability
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks that align with project objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to team members
  • Represent the iOS engineering perspective in strategic discussions and influence the product roadmap
  • Lead and mentor other Swift engineers, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct code reviews, pair programming sessions, and team workshops to raise technical proficiency
  • Implement and advocate for high-quality testing practices, including unit, integration, and UI tests
  • Monitor and optimize app performance, reliability, and security
  • Identify and resolve technical debt to maintain sustainable development velocity
