Tech Lead, Mobile IOS

Summary

Join ília, a technology, data, and design specialist, as an iOS Development Team Leader! Lead and mentor a team of iOS developers, ensuring best programming practices. Design and evolve application architecture for scalability and performance. Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Review code and guarantee technical quality. Establish and disseminate best practices in Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, and CI/CD. Define strategies to optimize application performance and security. Participate in roadmap definition and backlog prioritization. Act as a technical reference, mentoring and training developers. Ensure efficient app integration with external APIs and services. This is a fully remote, flexible 40-hour work week CLT position.

Requirements

• Solid experience in iOS development with Swift
• Mastery of Mobile Architectures (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
• Knowledge of state management and reactivity with Combine
• Experience with automated testing (unit and UI tests)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.)
• Experience in publishing and managing applications on the App Store
• Good communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Advanced English (oral and written communication)

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the iOS development team, ensuring good programming practices
• Design and evolve the architecture of the applications, ensuring scalability and performance
• Work together with designers, PMs, and other teams to deliver exceptional experiences to users
• Review code and ensure the technical quality of deliveries
• Establish and disseminate good practices of Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, and CI/CD
• Define strategies to optimize the performance and security of the applications
• Participate in the definition of the roadmap and prioritization of the backlog with the product team
• Act as a technical reference, mentoring and training the developers on the team
• Ensure the integration of apps with APIs and external services efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Objective-C
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Experience with integrations via GraphQL and WebSockets
• Experience with server-driven UI architecture
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
