Summary

Join Tridge, a global team reshaping trade intelligence delivery, as a Tech Sales Executive focusing on the SMB/SME segment. You will own the full sales cycle for Tridge Eye, our proprietary intelligence platform, from lead generation to closing deals. This role requires driving new customer acquisition, conducting discovery calls, delivering compelling demos, and managing deals using CRM tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide market insights. The position is remote in Nigeria, a 1-year renewable contract based on performance. Tridge offers a remote-first work model with autonomy and the opportunity to work with global clients and cutting-edge B2B SaaS technology.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B tech, platform, or data/intelligence sales โ€” ideally with a strong focus on SMB/SME customers through inside sales or similar roles
  • Proven ability to close deals in short- to mid-length sales cycles (3-4 weeks)
  • Strong understanding of value-based and consultative selling frameworks
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to senior business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities in parallel
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital prospecting tools

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end tech sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, with a strong focus on short- to mid-cycle deals typically seen in SMB/SME segments
  • Drive new customer acquisition through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
  • Conduct solution-oriented discovery calls with decision-makers in sourcing, trade, and strategy roles, with a focus on SMB/SME decision-makers who value agility and data-driven insights
  • Deliver ROI-driven demos that connect Tridge Eyeโ€™s intelligence with each prospectโ€™s business needs
  • Develop a pipeline of high-intent leads and manage deals using CRM tools
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless hand-off and customer onboarding
  • Provide regular insights on local market dynamics and customer feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the agriculture, food, or trade sectors
  • Background in market research, analytics, or B2B intelligence solutions
  • Experience selling in emerging markets or cross-border trade environments
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup
