Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development, with a strong focus on e-commerce
• Proven experience as a Technical/Team Lead or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of OOP and functional programming; Knowledge of SOLID principles of software development
• Demonstrable ability to break large architectural and implementation problems into logical smaller solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 7 Shopify developers and 8 external partners
• Correctly allocate resources to optimize project outcomes
• Organize the daily routine to ensure the optimal workflow of the development team
• Conduct code quality control and monitoring
• Establish correct Git processes and best practices
• Provide guidelines for coding to achieve positive Web Core Vitals scores
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
