Technical Diligence Researcher

Summary

The job description is for a Technical Due Diligence Lead in CoinList's Protocol Services team. In this role, the employee will engage with crypto project founders and conduct technical due diligence, including diligence calls and analysis of technical documentation to ensure the technical soundness and potential success of projects on the CoinList platform.

Requirements

• Crypto native with a technical background
• Strong understanding of crypto/blockchain technology
• 2+ years of crypto research or crypto investing experience - particularly a focus on infrastructure-related crypto projects (e.g. L1’s, L2’s, cross-chain infra, middleware)
• Excellent writing competency, and strong communication skills; the ability to concisely explain and distill complex technical concepts
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Engage with founders and CTOs of crypto projects in CoinList’s Token Launch pipeline to evaluate the technical aspects of the project
• Write research reports for the Protocol Services team that cover a project’s technical architecture, analysis of comparable/competitive projects, and other related intangibles (e.g. founder / CTO quality, valuation analysis, etc.)
• Conduct research and analysis on different crypto verticals (e.g. novel L1s, DeFi, etc.)
