Summary
Join Darktrace as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serve as a SME on cyber security and AI, industry use cases, industry security products, thought leadership, strategy development, technical content generation, speaking engagements, and knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 8 yearsβ current experience and expertise in Data Science/ Machine Learning/ AI
- Actual experience in multiple ML algorithm types, understanding differences, strengths and limitations as well as desired implications of implementing models into an environment
- Working for or with Enterprise level companies
- Bachelorsβ Degree or higher in STEM (Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, Machine Learning or AI, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Data Science or other engineering degree)
- Desired: Several years of experience in cybersecurity or secure development or threat hunting knowledge/expertise as applied to development
- Desired Certifications: Security, Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, or AI
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Public Speaking and Knowledge sharing is a key component of this role
- Strong written communication skills; experience in creating technical white papers, blogs and content
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-initiated individual contributor that can work with many different teams on various objectives
- Desired: Industry expertise in machine learning applications in Cyber Security
Responsibilities
- Expertise in Cybersecurity and AI: SMEs at Darktrace are expected to have deep knowledge and experience in cybersecurity and AI, including understanding of various threats, attack vectors, and defense strategies
- Product Knowledge: They should possess a thorough understanding of Darktrace's products and services, including their capabilities, implementation, and optimization
- Client Support: SMEs provide technical guidance and support to Darktrace's clients. This includes assisting with consulting strategy, security advice, AI expertise, and optimizing Darktrace's cybersecurity solutions
- Training and Education: SMEs may be involved in training sessions for clients and internal teams to ensure they understand how to maximize the effectiveness of Darktrace solutions
- Collaboration: They collaborate closely with other teams within Darktrace, such as sales, engineering, marketing, corporate affairs, analysis, and research and development, to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs and product development
- Strategy development: They collect and analyze external intelligence on market, products, gaps, predictions and customer feedback to provide strategy for evaluation
- Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and AI are crucial for SMEs at Darktrace. They are expected to continually expand their knowledge and expertise in the field
