Technical Documentation Engineer

Summary

Join Tether, a leader in digital finance, and become a hands-on technical writer. You will contribute to the documentation of our open-source projects and platform products, including public npm modules. This role requires proactive documentation updates to match the rapid development pace, creating high-quality documentation, guides, and examples. You will also address community questions and improve documentation accordingly. Tether offers a global, remote team environment, fostering collaboration and innovation in the fintech space.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Node.js developing high-quality, clean and efficient code is mandatory
• 1+ years of experience in documentation and is highly proficient in the English language
• Experience with Git and markdown are essential
• Remote Collaboration: Since our team is distributed globally, experience in remote collaboration and communication is essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team
• Writing and improving documentation, guides, FAQs, etc
• Developing high quality proof of concept application and example snippets
• Staying aware of questions and issues faced by the community and improving the documentation to support them better

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C/C++ is good to have
• Passion and experience working with open source technologies
