Technical Documentation Engineer

Summary

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for documenting their open-source projects and platform products, including public npm modules and a robust modular codebase. You will work closely with the development team to ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and you will create high-quality proof-of-concept applications and example snippets. This role requires strong technical writing skills, experience with Node.js, Git, and markdown, and a passion for open-source technologies. You will be part of a global team working remotely, so experience in remote collaboration and communication is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Node.js developing high-quality, clean and efficient code is mandatory
• 1+ years of experience in documentation and is highly proficient in the English language
• Passion and experience working with open source technologies
• Experience with Git and markdown are essential
• Remote Collaboration: Since our team is distributed globally, experience in remote collaboration and communication is essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team
• Writing and improving documentation, guides, FAQs, etc
• Developing high quality proof of concept application and example snippets
• Staying aware of questions and issues faced by the community and improving the documentation to support them better

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C/C++ is good to have
