Technical Documentation Engineer

Summary

Join Tether, a global leader in digital finance, and become a hands-on technical writer. You will contribute to the documentation of our open-source projects and platform products, including public npm modules and a robust modular codebase. This role demands proactive documentation updates to keep pace with rapid development. You will write and improve documentation, guides, and FAQs, and develop high-quality proof-of-concept applications and example snippets. Addressing community questions and issues through improved documentation is also crucial. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical writing and Node.js development skills, along with experience in open-source technologies and remote collaboration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Nodejs , developing high-quality, clean and efficient code
• 1+ years of experience in technical writing
• Proficiency in English
• Passion and experience working with open source technologies
• Experience with Git and markdown
• Since our team is distributed globally, experience in remote collaboration and good communication skills are essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team
• Writing and improving documentation, guides, FAQs, etc
• Developing high quality proof of concept application and example snippets
• Staying aware of questions and issues faced by the community and improving the documentation to support them better

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C/C++ is a nice to have
