• Advanced Technical Leadership and System Navigation. : We seek a candidate who possesses deep technical expertise across various technologies and has a proven track record of navigating complex, large-scale systems
• Effective Communication and Team Collaboration. : Seeking a candidate skilled in clear communication and effective team collaboration, essential for driving project success and maintaining cross-departmental synergy
• Strategic Vision and Inspirational Leadership. : This role requires a leader who possesses a clear vision for the future and the ability to inspire and motivate the team toward achieving innovative solutions and industry-leading standards
• Championing Functional Testing and Modern Development Practices. : A key responsibility will be to champion the importance of functional testing within our projects. Our technical stack is primarily focused on TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, and React Native
• Analytical Expertise and Database Proficiency. : We value strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills, along with meticulous attention to detail. Your expertise should also include robust profiling and debugging capabilities. Practical experience with MySQL and CosmosDB is essential, as well as familiarity with event-driven systems, including message queue processing
• Cloud Integration and Continuous Deployment Mastery. : Your background should demonstrate experience in CI/CD environments, and cloud expertise is highly desirable, particularly with Azure

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership. : Develop and design architectural solutions and diagrams that will be executed by your team, ensuring robust and scalable technical frameworks
• Team Development. : Mentor team members to foster their individual growth and professional development
• Standards and Improvement. : Uphold and enhance engineering standards, continually seeking process optimizations and metric advancements within your team
• Project Management. : Oversee the delegation and delivery of projects, maintaining transparent communication with the product team regarding any shifts in timelines or expectations
• Negotiation and Planning. : Strategically negotiate timelines to ensure the integrity and quality of engineering outcomes
• Recruitment and Team Building. : Serve as the hiring manager, actively shaping and strengthening the team composition
• Operational Oversight. : Manage production deployments, ensuring the seamless and secure transition of products into production environments
• Technical Proficiency. : Gain a deep understanding of OneRail’s architecture and codebase to effectively support and guide engineering decisions
• Quality Assurance Collaboration. : Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) team members to strategize and execute testing plans, thus ensuring the highest quality of deliverables
