Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software integration, development, or a related technical role
  • Possess strong proficiency in software development and coding practices
  • Have experience with programming languages such as PHP, Python, or JavaScript
  • Be familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Have knowledge of databases such as SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Have experience with API integrations and file-based data exchange
  • Understand web technologies and frameworks
  • Have proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze processes and implement improvements for efficiency
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, especially with non-technical stakeholders
  • Be fluent in English, with excellent spoken and written skills, to effectively communicate with U.S. customers
  • Have strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform coding tasks required for integrations in order to become an expert in our integration processes and technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the offshore development team
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact between U.S. customers and the development team in Sri Lanka
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements for integration projects
  • Evaluate and estimate the time and resources needed for development tasks
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the offshore development team to ensure project milestones are met
  • Identify commonalities across different integrations and enhance our systems to improve efficiency and promote code reuse
  • Oversee the integration process from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with customer expectations
  • Monitor project outcomes to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Regularly update internal and external stakeholders on project status, challenges, and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with PHP, AWS services (especially S3), React, and SQL
  • Be familiar with cloud-based integration tools
  • Hold relevant technical certifications
  • Have food service experience
