Technical Operations Engineer

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Have 2+ years in a TechOps, IT, Engineering, or DevOps role
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python or JavaScript plus basic software engineering knowledge
• Possess strong SQL skills and knowledge of database technologies
• Have experience working with APIs
• Have experience with automation tools like Cypress or similar
• Have experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Have experience working with AI and LLMs
• Demonstrate familiarity with macOS and IT management
• Demonstrate familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Sentry
• Demonstrate familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Demonstrate familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrate understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
• Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Be extremely detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Responsibilities

• Write code and tools to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and enhance efficiency for core product and internal workflows
• Act as a primary responder to technical incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures
• Support internal IT processes with an eye towards automation around vendor management, access and identity management, and more
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance and scalability
• Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and compliance standards
• Work closely with Engineering, Customer Support, and Product teams to support deployment processes and integrate new technologies
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configuration, procedures, and changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity
