Summary
Join Aledade as a Technical Product Manager and become a key member of the team designing technical solutions for Medicare Advantage. You will collaborate with various teams to define project goals, scope, and implementation plans. You will serve as the interface between business owners and development, ensuring high-quality, scalable products. Responsibilities include partnering with business owners to define vision and priorities, optimizing user workflows, understanding requirements, writing user stories, and developing roadmaps. The role requires 5+ years of product management experience in technology or SaaS, experience using data to inform solutions, and understanding of the software development lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include excellent communication skills, project management experience, and healthcare data knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services industry, or a SaaS product
- Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and build internal business understanding
- Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies. Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams
- Product development experience in the context of the development of a healthcare technology product
Responsibilities
- Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective
- Ongoing optimization of live user workflows and capabilities including monitoring of key metrics & internal user feedback
- Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful technical solution designs, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution
- Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes
- Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise
- Experience applying project management principles and techniques with an eye towards execution. To include skills in leading and managing change within the team and initiative more broadly
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including demographic, financial and clinical data
- Familiarity with software development environments, version control systems and basic coding or scripting languages to better communicate with development teams and participate in technical discussions
- Basic understanding of healthcare administrative or clinical workflows for inpatient, ambulatory or ancillary services
- Experience working with EHR, practice management, revenue cycle or population health products
- Experience with patient identity matching including expertise in corresponding datasets to ensure accurate patient record linkage, data integration, and interoperability across clinical and claims data sources
- Knowledge of SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL experience
- Knowledge of Databricks, ideally for managing, processing, and analyzing patient matching data, including using Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and data pipelines to optimize patient identity resolution, matching algorithms, and interoperability workflows
