Summary

Join Acquia as a Technical Product Trainer and deliver engaging training on our products and solutions to internal teams and partners. You will become a subject matter expert, evangelizing Acquia's offerings and empowering our sales organization. This role involves developing and delivering multi-tiered training strategies, designing creative learning solutions (including e-learning), and certifying sales representatives. You will also create and manage a curriculum of product certifications, refine existing training materials, and develop a data-driven framework to evaluate training success. Collaboration with various teams (Product, Product Marketing, Marketing) is crucial for managing product releases and campaign enablements. You will also project manage and create product-related enablement assets.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in sales, sales training, product marketing, or sales engineering/solutions consulting, preferably within high-tech organizations
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to transfer skills and knowledge to groups and individuals
  • Demonstrated skills in training, influencing others, delivering group and individual presentations, and client interfacing
  • Ability to articulate complex technical subjects and simplify them into easy-to-understand concepts for use by sellers of varying technical expertise
  • Refined training facilitation skills and expertise, with experience in creating sales enablement assets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and bring them to successful completion
  • Strong meeting management and group facilitation skills, and ability to structure both small and large group meetings to achieve predefined objectives and advance projects through influence rather than authority
  • High competency in the following areas: collaboration, oral and written communication, ability to create polished enablement presentations and assets, attention to detail, planning, process and project management, effective decision-making, results-orientation, and the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop, facilitate, and execute a multi-tiered product enablement strategy for Sales and Customer Success team audience, including follow-up and reinforcement
  • Design and develop creative training solutions including, but not limited to interactive instructor-led training courses, e-learning and blended learning modules, and all related materials and resources
  • Deliver training to new hires, serve as an in-field resource, provide feedback, and certify reps for successful independent interactions with buyers
  • Create and manage a curriculum of product skills certifications to be completed by team members
  • Develop and maintain product training assets for sales onboarding programs and ongoing initiative-based training programs
  • Refine existing training curriculum in alignment with evolving business priorities
  • Create and refine a data-driven, analytic framework to identify gaps and evaluate the success of training programs
  • Support global reinforcement of Enablement initiatives such as sales asset management, product knowledge, and sales SOPs and best practices
  • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Marketing teams to manage ongoing product releases, campaign releases, and playbook enablements
  • Project manage and/or create product-related enablement assets to live in our asset repository

Preferred Qualifications

  • Development experience with the open-source CMS Drupal is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems, and Salesforce is a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience in Enablement, Coaching, or Team leadership is a plus
