Summary

Join Databricks as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the implementation of Data and AI capabilities for Public Sector clients. You will oversee a team of professionals, collaborate with government stakeholders, and ensure successful project deployment. Your impact will include improved data interoperability, enhanced scalability, increased agility, better data governance, improved analytics and AI, and cost savings. The role requires strong program management experience, excellent communication and technical proficiency, and the ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years leading process/program management, with strong proficiency in analysis and reporting to inform strategic planning, optimize project execution, and support stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with senior leaders, showcasing the ability to influence and drive decision-making at executive levels by delivering clear, actionable reporting and analysis
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills for delivering insights to senior leadership and leading steering committees
  • Highly tech-savvy, with experience in using modern tools and platforms (such as SQL, Smart Sheets, Jira, Tableau/Power BI or similar) to enhance program management processes
  • Proficient in data analysis and business intelligence tools; ability to translate data into meaningful insights and performance indicators
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influence skills
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects end-to-end
  • Ability to negotiate priorities across organizations at all levels
  • Eligible to obtain, or currently possess, and maintain an active US Government Secret security clearance
  • Local to the metro DC area for travel to customer location

Responsibilities

  • Shepherd and govern the implementation of Databricks’ industry-leading Data and AI capabilities for Public Sector customers
  • Oversee a team of professional services architects and consultants
  • Collaborate closely with government stakeholders to achieve customer’s mission objectives
  • Deploy use cases to Production
  • Accelerate Databricks adoption among the user community
  • Migration from Databricks PVC to E2
  • Create Project Plan
  • Generate Monthly Reports
  • Conduct Quarterly Reviews
  • Conduct Final Reviews
