Summary

Join Garner's growing team as a Senior Technical Program Manager! Partner with our Engineering department to prioritize and deliver mission-critical projects across shared services teams. You will own and manage practices to ensure on-time delivery, establish and monitor KPIs, collaborate with leadership, translate requirements into actionable work items, and track risks and deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of relevant experience, a data-driven mindset, excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of data security. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in program management, project management, engineering management, or related roles in a technical environment
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize insights from complex data
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, resulting in a track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to influence without authority and a demonstrated adeptness at building strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across departments
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to clearly articulate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to various stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of data security, data governance, and compliance requirements
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage practices and ceremonies to ensure on-time delivery of business commitments across SRE, Data Platform, and Security Engineering teams
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure team performance; use data insights to improve efficiency across shared services continuously
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to manage dependencies across domains, clearly communicating shared services requirements and dependencies
  • Use your technical expertise to translate requirements and requests from the Engineering department into actionable work items
  • Track risks, dependencies, and deliverables across shared services to ensure business value is delivered and stakeholders are kept informed of changes or delays
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in partnership with Business Technology and Security teams
