Summary

Join Palo Alto Networks' Global Consulting Operations team as a Technical Project Manager! You'll support multiple concurrent projects, partnering with technical teams and clients. This role focuses on Unit 42's Proactive Service and Digital Forensics/Incident Response engagements. You'll manage project schedules, communicate with clients, identify risks, and ensure project goals are met. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Project Management, focusing in one or more of the following: Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Risk/Controls, Software Defined Lifecycle (SDLC)/Infrastructure or other IT related technical environments
  • Ability to lead multiple small to medium-scale projects creating project plans and ensuring on-time task execution and documentation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects effectively by defining schedules and goals based on Statements of Work (SOWs) and communicating directly with clients where needed
  • Maintain and update status reports for external clients and customers
  • Identify issues and risks related to projects and overall health of the client; Ensure any identified issues/risks are escalated to the project Engagement Lead
  • Partner with project Engagement team members to accomplish project goals and objectives, ensuring execution of project tasks, and monitoring progress to completion
  • Support the delivery of quality solutions to clients and customers
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of engagements that are supported by the PMO through mentoring, training, delivery execution, and ongoing feedback
  • Partner with project Engagement team for project staffing needs
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for each project
  • Partner with the Engagement Lead to ensure the projects adhere to budget and time frame guidelines
  • Comfortable with managing customer expectations and dealing with conflict

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, and solve problems
  • Strong proficiencies with Google Suite, Asana, and Clarizen
  • Previous direct client/customer consulting experience
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed

Benefits

  • The starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $94,000 - $153,000/YR
