Lead the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding exceptional candidates. Collaborate with engineering teams and leadership to build a diverse and talented workforce. Contribute to improving recruiting processes and practices, ensuring efficiency and quality in hiring. Support the employee onboarding process and assist with HR generalist tasks. Maintain and track key recruitment metrics, providing reports and insights to leadership. Support recruitment for remote and global positions, ensuring compliance with international employment laws. This is an equity-based position with flexible hours (15-40 hours/week).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on full-stack development, AI, and similar technical roles
  • Proven experience sourcing and hiring for complex, high-skill roles using creative, data-driven methods
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, including trends in software development, AI, and machine learning
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools, including ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), Asana, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and startup-like environment, managing multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Full-Stack Developers, AI Developers, and other key technical roles, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across multiple channels, including niche job boards, social media platforms, tech communities, and networking events
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with passive candidates to maintain a pipeline of highly qualified talent for current and future openings
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, job descriptions, and ideal candidate profiles, ensuring alignment with company values and culture
  • Support the candidate journey, from initial contact through offer acceptance, providing an exceptional experience that reflects the company’s mission and values
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and practices, ensuring efficiency and quality in the hiring process
  • Assist in the employee onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and training materials
  • Partner with leadership to help manage employee relations, performance reviews, and conflict resolution where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, relevant labor laws, and company procedures
  • Maintain and track key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, providing reports and insights to leadership to improve recruitment strategies
  • Ensure data integrity within HRIS and ATS systems, making sure all candidate and employee information is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with recruitment audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant local and global regulations
  • Support recruitment for remote and global positions, ensuring smooth cross-border onboarding and compliance with international employment laws
  • Work with HRIS and EOR (Employer of Record) partners to ensure seamless onboarding, payroll, and legal compliance for remote and international employees

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with international recruitment and understanding of global compliance issues is a plus
