Technical Support Engineer

Summary

Join Dailymotion's team as an Engineer Support Technician and contribute to providing top-notch support to clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior colleagues. This role involves interacting with clients, investigating technical problems, creating documentation, and collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience as a developer or 3+ years as an advanced support technician in a SaaS environment
• Experience in resolving problems in a SaaS environment with the Agile methodology
• Experience working with APIs
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, either through professional experience or self-taught knowledge
• Experience using logs for troubleshooting (Datadog, Kibana, etc.)
• Ability to learn and continuously improve technical skills

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and clients Pro to treat advanced support requests and integration in respect of our SLA
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve client demands using technical tools (database queries, system logs, etc.) and identify solutions for resolving their problems
• Ensure the follow-up of requests, from reception to resolution, and assist the team in following up on complex technical subjects
• Escalate issues based on their technical and commercial priority, and synchronize with internal teams and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with product modifications and updates, participate in change management processes, and anticipate potential problems
• Create new internal documentation (Knowledge Base) and client-facing documents (Help Center), and improve existing ones in collaboration with support writers
• Participate in RFPs and define solutions that balance technical, commercial, and product needs
