Summary
Join FitOn, a leader in virtual healthcare, as a Virtual PMHNP to ensure clinical quality and continuity of care within our behavioral health program. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers the chance to shape service delivery in an innovative care model and growing organization. Compensation is competitive per visit, with flexible scheduling. The position is remote, but requires an active and unrestricted PMHNP license in at least three U.S. states. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a PMHNP, preferably in outpatient or telehealth settings.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited university or nursing program with a Masterโs or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner
- Dual-certified as a PMHNP and FNP (or other NP specialty), with an active and unrestricted PMHNP license in at least three U.S. states, preferably including Florida, Texas, New York, California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, or North Carolina
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a PMHNP, ideally in outpatient or telehealth settings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed, culturally competent, and evidence-based care
- Experienced in navigating and documenting within multiple EHR systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to new digital platforms and workflows
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and behavioral health regulations, with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance in virtual care settings
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments via telehealth for adult clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, and related behavioral health concerns
- Collaborate with the supervising psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team to inform treatment planning
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination with LCSWโs, RDs, PTs, and physicians
- Provide clinical input and oversight for treatment protocols and workflows as the program scales
- Monitor client progress and adjust care recommendations in coordination with therapists and other interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure documentation is completed in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner within our EMR system
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal clinical protocols and quality improvement processes
- Stay current with best practices, clinical guidelines, and emerging trends in behavioral health through ongoing education and professional development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in collaborative care or integrated behavioral health environments preferred
- Comfort working in a startup or fast-paced clinical environment with evolving systems
