Summary

Join MedCore Solutions as a Telephone Triage Nurse (USRN) and provide remote triage services to US-based patients. Requirements

  • Must have passed the US NCLEX (license MUST be up to date)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience, ideally in triage, emergency care, or telehealth
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in US healthcare industry
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a remote setting
  • Empathetic, patient-focused, and able to perform under pressure
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a home-based setup
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
  • Familiarity with EHR systems
  • Processor: Either Intel Core i5 and up or AMD Ryzen 5 and Up
  • RAM: 8GB and up
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (Windows 10 Pro is acceptable but not preferred). OS should be a legit license
  • Internet Connectivity: At least 50 Mbps and should be wired
  • Back-up connection and Power Supply
  • Hard Disk: At least an SSD
  • Processor - Apple M1 chip
  • RAM: 8GB and up

Responsibilities

  • Patient Triage & Assessment
  • Conduct remote assessments via phone or telehealth, following standardized triage protocols
  • Evaluate patient symptoms to determine care needs (emergent, urgent, or non-urgent)
  • Clinical Support
  • Provide health guidance, recommend at-home care, and refer patients to appropriate providers
  • Coordinate with US-based healthcare teams when necessary
  • Emergency Response
  • Identify signs of medical emergencies and instruct patients to seek immediate care
  • Escalate urgent concerns following clinical and procedural guidelines
  • Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Accurately log patient interactions and assessments using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Ensure documentation is HIPAA-compliant and up to standard

Preferred Qualifications

Possessing a valid NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) multi-state license is preferred and a plus
