Summary

Requirements

  • Passionate about craft cider
  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self starter who is motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
  • Must reside in the same area as the covered territory
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in using a laptop and digital tools
  • At least one year of sales experience (or recent graduate with relevant experience)
  • Background in working as part of a team—professionally, academically, or through extracurriculars
  • Positive, engaging personality

Responsibilities

  • Conduct phone-based sales outreach across a designated territory
  • Strengthen relationships with existing retail partners and establish new customer accounts
  • Introduce new products to accounts and drive product trial through effective merchandising (e.g., displays, POS materials)
  • Identify sales opportunities during each call by asking insightful questions, organizing collections, and focusing on sales growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activity
  • Enter contact information and detailed call notes after each interaction
  • Log account updates and activities in the CRM system
  • Make 40–50 sales calls per day
  • Complete 25 sales activity forms daily
  • Achieve a minimum of 300 cases sold per month

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in phone-based sales
  • Familiarity with the alcohol industry
  • Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Comfortable navigating CRM software
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
  • Strong communication skills, including a flair for GIFs, memes, and text messaging
