Summary

Fincons Group is seeking a Professional Test Engineer to join their team in Bern. The role involves analyzing requirements and specifications for automated and manual tests, managing test cases, evaluating and documenting test results, executing test cases, creating test reports, defining and collecting test metrics, and having practical experience in Java programming language.

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science (university, ETH, FH) or comparable education
• Proven understanding in test automation and scripting (ideally Cucumber)
• Knowledge with tools such as JIRA XRAY, Splunk, Grafana, IntelliJ, Git
• Practical experience in the Java programming language
• Test management and testing methodology
• Ability to document defects and coordinate fixes
• Familiarity with agile approaches and frameworks
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Very good German (oral and written)

Responsibilities

• Analysis of requirements and specifications for automated and manual tests
• Managing test cases and ensuring that requirements are adequately covered
• Evaluation and documentation of test results
• Execution of test cases (manual or automatic) and analysis of results
• Creation of test reports to document test stages and defects
• Defining and collecting test metrics
