Test Engineer

Summary

You will be responsible for developing and executing tests on our SaaS platform, working closely with Product and Development teams to refine requirements and improve development cycle time. This role requires a successful track record in designing and executing effective test plans, experience with API testing, and excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience and 3+ years of relevant experience are required. While the office is in Minnetonka, MN, remote work may be considered. Requirements

• Successful track record designing and executing effective test plans
• Ability to log comprehensive defects / bugs for Product / Development to understand
• Skilled at maintaining existing test suites
• Experience leveraging existing automation tests as part of overall testing strategy
• Prior experience analyzing business user needs and working with cross functional teams to refine requirements and create test scenarios
• Experience API Testing
• Collaborative team player and excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3+ years working experience
• Must have experience in Manual Feature testing and regression testing
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Extensive experience in refining requirements and acceptance criteria with various team members
• Knowledge of QA software tools for test plan and defect management like TestRail and Jira

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality of software releases
• Design and execute effective test plans that include manual testing and automation testing
• Identify test scenarios (manual and automated), test cases, and test data to ensure maximum test coverage for features new and existing
• Refine requirements and acceptance criteria with the Product team

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the current standards for accessibility i.e. (WCAG, AODA, etc.) and experience with a11y testing
• Experience with Performance and Load testing (BlazeMeter, JMeter, Load Runner, Neo Load etc.)
• Experience in automated test creation using Playwright or Cypress with Typescript/JavaScript
• Any experience with AWS, Kafka, and Docker
