You will be responsible for testing and evaluating software functionality, performance, and interoperability within the Joint Cyber Warfare Architecture (JCWA). The role involves test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting to support operational effectiveness and cybersecurity. Collaboration with developers and stakeholders is crucial to resolve issues and improve software quality. This position requires 4 years of specialized or military experience and a basic understanding of software testing principles.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning and design activities
• Review and analyze schematics, and technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Must be able to review, analyze, and interpret stakeholders needs
• Execute test plans and test cases to evaluate software functionality, performance, and interoperability
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality
• Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports
• Adhere to established testing standards and procedures
• Maintain a strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing best practices
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and testing tools
• Proactively seek out opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency
• Work under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment
