Summary

Join IREX as an English-Slovak translator to work on a fixed-price contract or consulting agreement. You will translate a curriculum on digital engagement and critical thinking, along with a parents' and caregivers' guide. The project involves translating up to 150 pages (approximately 300,000 characters). To apply, submit a CV highlighting relevant experience, a cover letter stating your price per page and turnaround time, and at least two professional references by November 31, 2024. IREX will evaluate proposals based on technical quality, price, capacity, and familiarity with the subject matter. There's a potential for contract renewal for up to three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, detailed, and timely written translation of the curriculum and parents/caregivers guide from English to Slovak
• Translate other curricular and training materials as agreed upon with IREX (e.g., presentation slides, activity handouts, etc.)
• Incorporate edits, clarifications, and corrections to translations as needed
